How to turn off app start animation

how to turn off, bounce, glow, shrink & grow...

I have an Nvidia 440 w 64mb video card with 1600x1200 screen. The the OD seems to slow down when starting a new application and my mouse moving away from the dock(resising back).

How can I disable the Dock applications animation?

Edit. I have the Object Dock plus.

I have the free version..haven't found a way..but, trying different variables under tweaks (mag eff transitions, autohide transitions &drawing engine) make a difference.

For a non-tabbed dock - Right-click dock > deselect "Magnification".

For a tabbed dock - Dock Settings > Appearance Tweaks > deselect "Zoom".

That should do it.

No you see, I want mouse over Zoom, but not Application start effect.(attention effect)

Glow, Rock, side to side, Shrink n Grow, etc.

Another thing is this program crashes, pretty often. It is the only Application that crashes in my computer.

Not even Internet Explorer crashes as much, if ever.

Giving it one more day, to decide if will keep. I think the Best OSX Dock is the free RKlauncher, used for a month and never crashed.

Oh well cant have my Mac feel when using Windows I suppose.

The crashing seems to be caused by the systray docklet.
