The Military Governor quits part way when changing ship projects.

Just in case this problem was missed, forgotten, or what ever.

With about 90 planets and lots of them building Dreadnaughts I completed the research on Battleship4 tech and used the Military Governor to change the building of Dreadnaughts to building Avatars. I checked to see if the changes had been made, but it stopped after 74 planets. It did not change any of the Dreadnaught projects after that.

This problem has been reported before but I could not find the tread in the Archives, so I decided to start a new thread. Strangely enough, on previous builds when I checked on this, the failure happened at around the same point (about the 70-80th planet in the planet list).

The only thing that I can think of is that the planets it failed to change have no more room in orbit, because the function that sets the ship being built checks to see if there is room in orbit (and stops there if there isn't) before it checks to see if the ship type being passed in is valid.

Cari,

This can not be the case. None of my planets have more than one ship in orbit, and some have none at all (I am still colonizing planets). The ship being changed to or from is immaterial, you just have to have over 80 planets for the problem to show up. I have a game I can save and send to you where you can reproduce it if you like. It happens all the time to me.

Yeah, if you could. I accidentally overwrote my save game with lots of planets this morning.

Actually, if you could send it my way as well...I implemented the governors, so it'd be more appropriate for me to fix it (Cari has enough to worry about without dealing with my bugs too) ;)
