Ok, so I've done everything I could to solve this, maybe someone else can shed some light. After installing ObjectDock Plus is when this all started happening. Ok so I've uninstalled, re-installed, clicked every setting combination I can think of. Tried WindowBlinds without OD on my computer. And somebackround on me I am knowledgeable enough I understand reg commands and can edit them without trashing my computer, I know what I'm doing when it comes to computers and programming, so when I say unistalled programs even the registry inputs were deleted that as most of you know don't get taken out through an unistalling programs. So it's like my computer never saw these programs before when I reinstall them. But now when I'm in WB none of my skins icons or animations show up, I mean the words are there, I can click on them, but see no small view or preview of them, but yet they all still apply and unload fine. Other than it just being a bit annoying I can live with it. But WTF???? Any thoughts? Oh yeah and although there is an empty space for it in my task tray, no icon shows up there either when it's running.

WB5 is Integrated into Windows to the way I understand it. So the tray icon not being there we're going to need to deal with until they add it in. Since WB5 is integrated it isn't a seperate process and that's the reason for the tray icon not being there. But you knew that I would imagine with your experience .

About nothing showing up in WindowBlinds. I have no freegin' idea. Lol. How do you get into WindowBlinds? With wbconfig? Or is there another way of loading it up you might be using? I use wbconfig... I haven't had any issues at all with WB5 but seems it's just prone to issues on some peoples Computers.

I just wanted to reply to you in hopes to help. I know how it is to have an issue and have no one respond. For instance, I've had a post on the tech forum for 12 days now that has no reply. Simple question too..

If you're in WC Browser and select the open links in windows default browser tab shouldn't it launch Opera if that's my default? I would think so. But it launches IE and remains on a blank page with no URL being filled in. Retarded huh? All a tech would have to do is tell me to change IE to my default, or it's just a reoccurring issue. Figures though, I don't post to expect response any more. I post to try and help others like me whom I know no one will reply to. Lol

Well I am actually not running WB5, for some reason everytime I run a beta version, things don't work right. Personally I wish the programs themselves had an edit option, every problem I read about I'm almost sure is caused by ONE simple command being written wrong, or it not being on the right line....but something small. Although there are other times I read a post and think it has NOTHING to do with the program...in fact I think "Holy hell what do you people do to your computers that causes any ObjectDesk programs to do that"

Read some of these people's problems, and they blame ONE program....people need to take care of their computers. In fact I don't think any of these programs have effected XP on my computer, just problems within the programs themselves...like no files showing up but I click apply and there's my skin applied perfectly. I launch WB from ObjectDock (payversion) but see it's like everyother problem I have it lasts sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 2 days but they come and go. I've gone through my computer completely, even the registry is clean of bad commands and I have ZERO broken links, or bad file paths...this baby is running like a swiss watch today.

But I have been playing with certain program combos, and I'm noticing that when certain programs are not installed, like windowFX really starts reaking havoc on it. Oh well, it's impossible to figure out without being able to rewrite the programming, and well this isn't that important. I mean the problems I have aren't consistant, I have 5 computers in my home, not ONE of them has shared a common problem. So where do you start, reload EVERY computer the same....not a chance I wouldn't see the outside world until the turn of the next century. Then I'd have to put them all back to their current configuration.

I got the answer, I'm shit-canning em all, and moving to some jungle on a continent that has 0 computers ha ha ha

As for your problem, I don't think that's YOUR computer...first a page can be written so it will only load in certain browsers. Reason being, all the browsers dont' display the page in the same way...for example if using certain formats through dreamweaver a page will display in IE exactly how it's written, but when opened in NetScrape things tend to overlap or borders are wrong. Now that can be easily figured out by going to the same link on someone elses computer and seeing if it does the same. But especially the part about it not only going to IE, but a blank URL....sounds like a programming error.

Most these guys are just dipping their pen in the programming ink...I mean take all your suites and test them in a suite editing program, Other than a few guys like the guy that does the FauxS, Adni, Apocolypse 67 and a few others I haven't found one of them that didn't have errors.

But it's made, submitted, posted, after all that back and fourth it's what happens. I say we go back to stone, chizels, and clubs. Life was easier when we didn't walk upright. Hell even my cell phone acts like a computer with the more and more numbers I put on it. Wish I could see the day when it all fails and no one knows what to do because we rely on technology

Mine's stuck on using WC browser. But if I right click and open in new window, then it opens another tab in FireFox.
