Lots and lots of tribute when restarting a fresh game on B2A.

This is really neat. I would love to keep it as a feature but I know it is completely wrong. Oh well.
I saw the note that restarting a game saved from Beta 2 would not work well if restarted on Beta 2A so I copied the Galciv folder and all its subfolders to another directory, thinking I might like to play the game I had saved later. Then I downloaded 2A as an upgrade and started a new game. I then saved the game immediately (my normal procedure) and played a couple of turns, then ran into something strange I had not expected. I then loaded the saved game from the options menu and, WOW. My treasury started climbing dramatically. I checked the economy screen and found I was gettting $1544 bc in tributed (and I had yet to meet any of other races). I then tried quitting the game and reloading from scratch. Same thing.
The key here is that the $1544 tribute was from the game on Beta 2 that I had saved. Then I deleted the savegame folder from my galciv\data folder and started a new game. Saving and restoring this game did not give the unexpected tribute, so I compared the files from "galciv\data\savegames\test" and "galciv2\data\savegames\test". I found files named "tribute.civ0" through "tribute.civx" in the galciv2 folder, but these were not in the galciv folder. I suspect my deliberate action of deleting the savegames folder is what deleted them in my galciv folder, not saving a game where I had not yet met any of the other races, and further suspect that any files residual from the old game can cause strange affects in a saved new game.
