Use launchpad, need taskbar sometimes

Hi all,

I use the Tab Launchpad, as I am allergic to the start menu and the Taskbar, but as we all know, some programs stick things on the Taskbar that are rather convenient.

In my case at the moment, in Win2000, when I want to eject my flash drive, since I have no taskbar, I have to use the TweakShell program, uncheck the "hide taskbar," eject, "hide taskbar," etc. Hardly an elegant solution.

Does OD provide any alternatives to this useful part of the taskbar, without having to see that dopey start button, and the running apps?

Thanks for any ideas,

John

i use 'rightclick' which i now cannot live without...you can set rightclick so that it shows your task bar items and your systray items...if you want to eject your flash drive, just rightclick anywhere on your desktop and then you can access the 'safely remove hardware'. below is an example of everything i have running on rightclick..you can have as much or as little as you like

i never use the windows taskbar any more...if i'm running a program full screen, i have a small odjectdock running , so that i can access other running tasks or programs

i hope this helps
