WB 5Lockup when Changing Skins

Wondering if I was the only one having this problem:

When I change from a WB5 skin to another WB5 skin without loading either Windows Classic or Windows XP in between, it doesn't change the skin and leaves a corrupted Display Properties window on the desktop, and when I reboot to to solve that problem, it locks up so bad that I have to unplug the computer to get it to reboot properly.

Suggestions appreciated and TIA.

I had problems using the drop down list on the appearance page. You need to click on the windowblinds button and use the "big" congiuration panel. The words "Apply this skin" are in the screenshot.
