After Mankinds initial discovery of the hyperdrive, the United Planets saw that this would ruin their monopoly on the trade routes and that they would no longer be able to infoecr trade embargo's on specific empires. They (unknown to the humans) held a UP meeting, and a resolution was put forward.

Suggested propesition 10032: The Genoside of the culture that call themselves Humans.

Let it be entered into the UP recoeds that the dreign have expressed their views that the humans are a threat to the stability of the Metaverse and that something has to be done to stop them and their recklessness.

Dreign:
Yes and the sooner the better... we must exterminate them..

they took a secret balad.. and luckily for the humans it came back as a no vote. and the motion was carried and tabled

When the dreign found out the result they stoped their transmittioin to the UP meeting. Everyone was uneasy as the new technology took hold and became widly spread

Many new empires were found. Including the reingworms,GROSS,the Jedi just to name a few.

Meenwile the dreign were still convinced that the humans had to be exterminated and set out by themselves to accomplish the task.

They launched a doomstar and sent it hurtaling towards earth .

Time passed and on earth (unaware what was comming their way) there was a huge debate going on as to just who would represent earth in the UP council. The Canadians, Eruopians, Japanese, French, Americans, Australians and many other nations thought that they should be earths representative culture and there were many small wars using different technologies to try to intimidate and or iliminate erivals to the task. none of which did very much as they all knew that each other had the same or similar weapons of mass distruction and that any major scurmish would result in the destruction of their home planet, no one wanted this because then there would be no humans around to reep in the great treasures and riches of the Metaverse. It was imperative however to get their share of the riches in abundance then they would need a representative on the council of the united planets.

10 years passed . Earth was no closer to choosing their representative.. Then the Astronomers of earth found a new huge commet heading for earth, It looked like a normal commet but acted differently.. instead of speading up as it got nearer to the sun it was slowing down. It would be close to earth in 2 days. it apeared from nowherehow could they have missed csomething this big entering the Solar System. Thoughts went back to the days of the dinasours and how they were exterminated with an asteroid hitting the earth.

It had been known for over a centuary that this is realy possible and the scars (creaters) on mars,jupiter,saturn bore this theory to be true. So many of the human civilizations had built massive artificial atmosphears.

Then on the day prior to the comet reaching eatrhs gravitational pull the commet appeared to shatter.. many meteors rained through the earths atmosphere causing great distruction and major tidle wayes,earthquakes and volcanic activity.. It was only then that the astronomers realised the trueth.. It wasn't a commet.. but a huge space craft that had taken many years to get to earth and whos size had generated enough gravitational force to attrace many smaller space debries to its surface, thus making it appear to be a commet. the commets tail was actually the exhaust from the massive propultion system.

the humans had been so concerned about who would represent them in the UP council that it hadn't occured to them that anyone would be out to invade them. Now they began to suspect that the Metaverse was not all that friendly and that they had not setup and defence against such an attack... Sheesh What could defend us against something like this.. its massive.. larger than our moon.

On all of the earths broadcasting systems came a transmission.. It looked like a creature that should have been in a zoo, no one could understand what it was trying to say.. then on the screens came something that looked likea test pattern with a rotating arm.. as it rotated lights were disapearing from around the edges. Many of the earths populations fearing the worst asctivated all that they could to try to protect themselves including the artificial gravity and atmosphear systems that had helped reduse damage to their section of earth.

Many scientests noticed that the earth was actually expanding.. that the continental plates were all shifting apart..

Then it Happened.. A bright flash originating from the spacecraft. Scientests tracked where it hit the earth.. it was.. was.. {gulp} right deep inside the san andraus fault.
there was silence for a second prior as the after shock.. all unprotected sections of the earth were imediatly incinerated.. before anyone knew it the earth exploded sending pieces of our humble planet in all directions at different speeds and sizes.

There was no more planet earth... The dreign were happy and congradulated themselves on a job well done.

To cover their backs the dreign imediatly contacted the UP council. and informed them that the planet called earth simply tore apart . That they had sent an envoy to communicate to the earthlings and that the planet couldn't stand the gravitational pull of their craft. They attempted to fein inoscence.. but the UP knew what must have happened.. but they had no proof. The Dreign were fined 1,000,000bc and it was put into a fund to help locate any survuvors (even though they all knew that there couldn't be any.. it was a way to punish the dreign and replenish the UP's treasury since the losses they had been incurring since the invention of hyperdrive)

Time passed.. everyone thought that there were no more humans..

however.. on small fragments of earth civilizations survived.. each thinking that they were the sole survivors of the catasrtophy that had struck their beloved planet earth. Each called their section of earth "Earth" to honour their home planet. many years passed and many civilizations found PQ15 planets in which to transfer their civilizations to.. and start afresh.

Among those found so far are the ANZACS,the Europians,The canadians, and a few others but not all civilizations have survived.. but more are being found as the metaverse gets explored.

The humans that survived have found many other civilizations out there .. some that believe in magic as opposed to technology.. and a type of religeon that believes that there is one mighty force that governs everything, even another that is helf in order by the power of a ring, the ring that binds and rules many other rings.. Pirates.. Mercenaries and many other new strange beings..

Upon finding these remenants of the earth species called humans the UP decided that each deserves a representative on the coulcil in their own right. 1` for surviving the catastrophy.. and 2 because they each had gone their own way and re-colonized planets on their own as opposed to uniting together ...

So it has been recorded and remembered how the humans entered into the metaverse.
