Multiple screens per each PC problems with moving mouse between

I am running Multiplicity 1.2 unlicensed and am considering the purchase.  I have been using the free Synergy, but like the features of Multiplicy better.  I would switch if I can get this bug worked out.

I have 2 PC's.  The server has a Quad display video card and the client (setup to the right physically) has a dual head video card:

Windows sees the displays as:

Server:        Client:

3  4             2

1  2             1

All 6 screens have the same resolution at 1280 x 1024.

My problem is that as I move the mouse back and fourth between client and server it raises progressively on the screen.  Near the bottom of server 2 and client 1 the differential is only about a 1 inch jump up.  But as you move up it gets worse.  A switch between the bottom of Server 4 and Client 2 lands the mouse at the top of client 2.

Can this be resolved?

Hi,

At this time, Multiplicity does not do a "Grid" layout. The current options are Horizontal or Vertical.

Horizontal:

Primary Secondary
1 2 3 4 1 2

Primary Secondary
4 2
3 1
2
1

This functionality may be implemented in future versions.

Okay,

I reoriented my monitors to:

Primary:    Secondary:

4

3

2            2

1            1

As recommended and am still experiencing the same issues.  I can transition from the bottom of Primary 1 to Secondary 1 correctly.  But when I try to go from the Bottom of secondary 1 back I end up at in the middle of Primary 3.

Is this behaviour as designed or is there a bug / configuration issue?
