Two small problems: Governor & Map Selection
from
Stardock Forums
1. Well into a B2B game I noticed that on a really long Governor list, nearly everything researched, that trying to remove an item (by double-clicking) starts malfunctioning--a different item is removed from the list, something at a higher priority (lower number).
2. Again, well into a game, occasionally while trying to aim my survey ship at an anomaly right next to a star system, the ship is targeted at the star itself. I noticed it earlier in the game but thought I must have mis-clicked. When I ran across it again, I made sure that it really was behaving that way. If I got right next to the anomaly, I could successfully hit it. Perhaps I couldn't when the planet was marginally in the way?
Otherwise, enjoying most of the changes. I see that the other races tend to mellow (i.e., become less likely to attack you if fall a smidgen below them militarily). Maybe I'm just getting better, but early in the game with two different races at war with me, it was possible to pull through that and eventually force peace treaties. Partly because of a *very* healthy survey ship and partly because of other races helping out with ships. It would be interesting to know what the criteria for that is, because the aiding parties are often not at war with my enemy and not necessarily even as friendly towards me as neutral.
