Turbine Entertainment has announced that beta sign-ups for its upcoming MMORPG based on The Wizards of the Coast game, Dungeons and Dragons has begun, and that IGN has become the exclusive supplier. Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach Beta access will be a semi-open sign-up with subscribers to FilePlanet receiving an edge over the people who just apply for FilePlanet. The lucky Alpha testers will also be given a Beta key automatically, as a reward for their hard work during the game's early stages.
"Our readers recently voted Dungeons & Dragons Online as their 'most anticipated MMO' game," said Jamie Berger, VP and General Manager, Consumer Products Group, IGN Entertainment. "Not surprisingly, we are delighted to be the exclusive host of the Beta and to offer those players a first crack at the only MMOG inspired by the legendary role-playing game."
