Just keeps getting better. Everything seems to be working well. Great job!
I still have a question about the left side scroll button though. It seems that you have to be on the right side of the arrow in order for it to work properly. Is this happening to anyone else?

thanks for the update.

CS2 active/inactive windows now functioning correctly, however, CS2 now seems to be hogging alot more memory...i could have upto 20 jpg images open at once in CS2 with no performance issues (100% efficiency on all windows), but now, with only two jpg images open my 'efficiency' (bottom of the active window) drops down to 94%, with eight windows open 74%....just switching between two open windows takes some time...

my only problems so far...all the rest seems great

Well, now I hadn't noticed that one. I always grab and drag the scrollbar.

Skin seemed to load a lot faster -- I did have to uninstall the previous version in order to get the update work, otherwise I got an error telling me the installation failed. I was able to install it though!

I had no problem installing over what I had. I went through my Stadock Central browser.

Can't update to 4.95. Gives me an error loading wb.xml
I updated Stardock Central to 2.19b just prior to installing the updates to 4.95. Skin Studio professional gives me the same error

Luis, I had the same problem: can you try to uninstall the 4.90g versions and make an install from SD Central?

I've been waiting for x64 support, and now we have it... or do we? As soon as I installed this it said to reboot, which is pretty typical, so I did. I didn't get windowblinds, but I was blessed with an extraordinarily long bootup time and an error message telling me that I have to reboot my computer before I can run windowblinds when I logged on. It doesn't matter how many times I reboot, or if I uninstall it and reinstall it and reboot again, no WB5 joy for me

I have the same problem as Darrian. After having installed WB 4.95[b].008 and restarted a message pops up telling med that WindowBlinds cannot start. It asks me if I have restarted after installing (which i have). I didn't get a noticable longer bootup time like Darrian. I too am running Windows XP x64 Edition.

same here guys with X64.................Bootup time is fine..

But WB will not startup....another dodgy release.

I get the download error as well. I think I'll wait 'til tomorrow for a fix before I muck about with what's currently working.

We are looking into the install issues (both the SDC issue and the issue with 64 bit XP not working on reboot)

Any news on the skins not applying in the newer betas in comparison to the first alpha which worked fine?

The Black UI is looking hot.

That's exactly what I had to do -- uninstalled from Stardock Central, the reinstalled after rebooting my computer and it worked.

For the x64 users, it actually is working in this release; the one snag (which I suspect is an honest mistake by the developers) is that you need to run "WBInstall64.exe" in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds" before you can run wbconfig, but then it works wonderfully.

However, you have to do this every reboot, I haven't tested whether adding it to the startup programs changes anything.

Anyways, thanks for the x64 support.

I can confirm that softparadigms solution works on my computer as well

I'm running WinXP 64bit as well with the same error. If I go to the windowblinds directory and manually execute WBInstall64.exe and then wise_post.exe then wbconfig.exe, it allows me to apply a skin and runs fine; the tray icon is also loaded. However after reboot it fails once again. Windowbloinds fails to integrate into the display properities.

Because "we" are using Windowblinds, and I am a product user, not programmer.

It seems I created an attractive thread though.

Weird. Computer runs WB4.6 perfectly but I can't update to WB5. Everyrtime I try, on doing the recommended restart the computer won't start properly. I get as far as the wallpaper being up but explorer refuses to start, I just have the "hourglass" and mouse pointer sat alternating every so often in the middle of the screen. Even Ctrl Alt Del doesn't work and the taskmanager won't come up. I need to reboot into safe mode and run a system restore from there to fix it and get back to WB4.6. I have tried just installing from SDC and also uninstalling 4.6 first before loading 5 but it makes no difference.

Windows XP Pro, SP2, 1.3 Duron, 256 RAM, Radeon 9000 Graphics Card (currently running the latest Omega drivers but have tried a few sets including latest from ATI website but no difference)
