Very nice work, it's looking great. Here are a few things I ran into:
Pressed the ' - key to "fiind your toughtest ship," and it brought me to an *alien* ship.
When the GNN window comes up to tell me of the turn's accomplishments, and I press "go to planet," the GNN screen keeps popping up on top when I try to do something such as change the ship I am building. The only way to escape this is to press "done" on the GNN screen, even if there are other planets listed on it that I also wanted to check out.
In the shipyard, often when I start to build a new ship, the hull I select is "invisible" until I put something on it. Sometimes *one* red dot appears.
In the "quick build" window for ships, it would be good to have a "purchase" option. As it is now you have to go to the planet, then to the base, then select "purchase."
When wheeling and dealing with the aliens, they will often agree to give me a certain amount of credits on top of a technology ... but the credits don't appear to ever get into my bank account!
Also, regarding negotions with other races - it would be good to have some numerical indication of the "value" of the various techs that are being traded. It would give you a better idea of how good (or bad) a deal you are considering.
