Dumb question from a new player! Bear with me:)

Hi, I just bought the game and installed all the patches bonuses, but I don't seem to have the 'progressive' party to choose from on the loading screen as it has in the manual! I tried older patches I found lying around, still nothing. It may not be that big a deal, but if that didn't come up, I wonder what else is missing?

Also, has anyone else had a description of the minor race the I-League? It's says 'string not found' in the description window. This makes me wonder if the problem is related to the missing 'progressive' party. Thanks.

Hi redscum. Welcome to the forum.

The progressive party is not in the game. They forgot to remove them from the manual.

The I-League description is fixed in the GC Expansion Pack which would be available free to all Galciv players next month. Unrelated issue.

"Progressive Party": 50% reduction to interstellar ship insurance costs. With additional discounts for multiple ships and SBs. LOL

Hmmmm....... Now there is a feature no one has seen in a TBS. Optional unit insurance. Expensive, but if your BB gets destroyed you can get it replaced for a deductible cost. ;)
