System Tray

White Background

For some reason, with some skins, like the one im using now "5imple", there's a white background behind the system tray icons, when i pass my mouse over them the white background disappears, but then after about three seconds it reappears, any ideas on how i could get rid of that?

there could be several reasons for that...

check your color settings; 32 bit should display everything properly, anything lower than that means that translucency doesnt work and icons with translucent parts will show up with that white background.

it could also just be a bug with windowblinds; try unloading and reloading wb.

Also, try deleting the skin and reinstalling it; some files might have gotten corrupt.

and lastly, if you are using a wb5 skin, make sure you have the windowblinds 5 beta (4.95 i think)

If you are running WinXP, or 2k:
1 right-click on the desktop
2 click "properties"
3 click "settings"
Where it says "color quality" is a drop-down box. You'll want it to display "highest(32 bit)" for best Windowblinds display.

ya it's already on 32 bit but the white background behind the system tray icons are still there

That's one of four things Halluci suggested .......... have you tried the other 3?

My guess is you're having this problem with skins meant for the WB5 beta, while running the shareware version of WB 4.6. This is based on the fact that your profile says you're not a current, or former customer.
