dev help

I'm currently majoring in computer science and I can code in C++.
I am willing to try help you guys code the game for free, as a learning experience. If you can provide me with technical specifications of some module that doesn't deal directly with graphics, I could do it.

We aren't currently looking for any interns. Your university probably has some sort of Career Services program to help students find internships and co-op positions. My university also required a class called Senior Project, in which the students are required to create a product that could be used in their field, working in teams or on their own. Several universities also offer classes that are called "capstone" classes, that generally offer more practical application than standard CS classes. There are a few colleges that offer Game Design classes, which have a lot of practical application in them, and there is an on-line organization, www.gameinstitute.org that offers on-line classes in game programming. Also, if your school has a chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), I would highly suggest joining it and also becoming a nation member of the ACM. As a member of the ACM, you have access to their digital library, which has thousands of articles on all sorts of different topics related to Computer Science (I found it invaluable whenever I had to do a term paper) and you can participate in their annual programming contest. The programming contest, and the training leading up to it, doesn't give much in the way of practical application, but it does give you a lot of practice in coding. The website for the ACM is www.acm.org. I hope that you find this information useful.
