do you guys think that the installation of AOL could have anything to do with this?

yea, my mom couldnt live without aol.

but my system is finally back to normal!! Last night the system shut down and said there was a serious error, so i booted into safe mode and ran AVAST, spysweeper, and adaware. This morning i booted the computer up and i got a window saying windows had recovered from a serious error due to a driver. im so thankful that this is over. i pray is nothing like this happens again.
