Wargaming.net has announced the sequel to its popular turn based strategy game, Massive Assault Network. Massive Assault Network 2 will take the hardcore turn based strategy game to new heights by introducing a real-time player interaction into the game, enabling games to take between 20-30 minutes instead of days or weeks.
"It's not a game for everyone." - says Victor Kislyi, Wargaming.net's CEO. "You will have to outdo, outwit and outmaneuver your opponents. But what can be more rewarding than brain-fighting your way into the elite club of the world's smartest strategy players?"
The three existing Massive Assault Network (MAN) communities, each using different versions of the game, will be folded into one community when MAN 2 launches, free of charge. MAN 2 will keep all the maps from the original title as well as adding some new ones, pushing the total number of playable planets to 24. Players will also retain the ability to organize their own tournaments for player versus player and Wargaming.net has said that they will begin to host "Clan Wars" tournaments.
Lastly, Wargaming.net has created a new pricing structure due to popular demand. Along with the trial version of the game, which allows you to play only on one planet, and the monthly $6.95 fee for all planets, MAN 2 will also be available via a lifetime membership for only $39.95. Stick around because beta sign-ups begin November 15th.
