GalCiv Beta Manual:, Where is?

Ok, after the 4 hour download (sans musica) I have installed the beta. I see a shortcut in my Windows menu to two docs, one called "GalCiv" Docs and one called "GalCiv Docs Battle". Neither shortcut works. I could really use some kind of a manual...is there one available? Not being a graduate of the OS/2 version, I could really use a few nudges.

Right now, it's in the Encyclopedia at the link at the top of this page. I don't know if those links are intended to work (and in fact, I don't have any GalCiv links in my Start Menu at all).
