Planet view

Hi all,

forgive my ignorance if I post an old idea that was already on the board, but I'm fairly new and only read through the last 15 days.
Also it might be in the game already and I was just to dumb to figure it out.

Have said that, I would like to see a filter in planet view to see all explored planets. So I could quickly find interesting planets.

Cheers

I'd add the request to show ships in orbit at the bottom of the view for the selected planet. That's the one thing I have to leave the planet view to check and often causes me to avoid the view and manually try to find and look at each planet in turn on the map.

TimeTraveller, that is a suggestion that has been made before and we will probably put it in at some point. I don't know when that will be.

We considered putting the ships in orbit in the planet list view, but we decided that it could be confusing, and they are orbiting the star rather than the planet anyway. You can toggle between the system list view and the planet list view by clicking on the round button between the two directional arrows on the planet data screen. I've written code that will make the planet data screen use the order in the sorted planet list to scroll through, so in the next build it will be easy for you to switch between these two views. When you are in the system list view, it goes from star to star when you click on the arrows. In the planet list view, it goes from planet to planet, although as I said before, in your build it isn't synched with the sorted list.
