Star Wars In Trouble Again
Player Backlash Allows Refund

Sony Online Entertainment and LucasArts will offer refunds to players who purchased the recently released expansion to Star Wars Galaxies. Refunds for Trials of Obi-Wan will be allowed due to the backlash from players over the massive changes that are coming to the game. This new player backlash is the second player reaction to change the game, with Japanese players boycotting the game until its service was canceled earlier this month.
The proposed changes will change all players into nine profession, eliminating some skills completely, such as creature handling. The changes are to be integrated slowly but the initial player reaction has led to the allowed refund. Players who purchased Trials of Obi-Wan before November 3rd will be eligible for a refund by e-mail at [email protected] or snail mail.
