Windows Explorer "busy/working" animation

a d/led skin changed it and i need it default again

in internet explorer and windows explorer there is a little windows logo on the top right that animates when its doing something. internet explorers anim. is fine. but in windows explorer it got changed when i downloaded a skin. i have since deleted this skin but even after applying a different skin, the previous skin's animation is still there...i was just wondering how to change it back to windows xps default animation using either the registry or skin studio... thanks!

That thingy is called a "throbber", don't ask me why...
I think the easiest way to change your throbber is to download TweakUI for XP, that is, if you're using XP. Get it here: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/tweakui.htm This is not Windows site, but is easier to get to. Read the top of the page before downloading, to make sure you get the right one. Hope this helps.

When you get that downloaded, here is how to change it:

Start Menu->All Programs->Powertoys for XP (if you have XP) ->TweakUI...double-click!
Click the +Internet Explorer. You will see now under this:

Small Animation
Large Animation

In each of these you have a choice, I suggest going with the default, so just click on "custom" then click back on "windows" or "explorer" which ever is more to your liking. Once both "small" and "large" are how you like, click "apply". You are set. Be careful with the rest of the settings in this little powertoy, unless you know what you are doing. That should get your "throbber" back to normal.

Well, he didn't go into detail, and I assumed that was one of the first things he/she tried...you never know, though.

try Webblinds - public download still works
