I do not have a Win98/Me PC but I do have a PC running Windows Vista Beta 2. Would it be of any help to install the beta on it and see how it does?

I am a new user. I have downloaded beta 0.79[b]. I am able to open the Game, Click on New, Select a Civilization, click next through the customize screen, select next at the game option screen. However @ the load screen my system either locks or the game simply crashes without error. Do you have an advice?
