WB in XP has always supported multiple user accounts. I have used them for quite some time. The other accounts can have their own skin and settings.
I am using the beta of WB5 and it still supports this.

I guess you're right

I couldn't find WB in the second user's taskbar - but launched it from the programs folder. and then it was definitely up. only caused a mish-mash of icons from IconPacker running on the other side. So I guess it's icon packager that doesn't play properly on more than one side. Perhaps I had asked Stardock about IP.

You have it working with mulyiple non-admin accounts? The RC2 that I updated to, still will not do it. It crashes when I try to load wbconfig. Works fine for admin accounts. I tried the run wbload first work around and that gives me a permissions denied error. Anyone know if this will return to the gold release?

Well the first RC it worked under just fine. I haven't updated to the "a" RC release. It would be a serious flaw if it didn't work right in the main release.

As for 4now, not sure why you are having trouble with IconPackager as that is working fine in other accounts here as well. I am not using the most recent released beta though but 3.09[b].004

hi GhoS

the two users on this computer are set as administrator. I now see that windowblinds will work on both sides - we can have our own skins - except that the skinning 'per application' effects both sides.

I have the most current full release of IconPackager and it is almost working. I don't remember being asked 'to set for multiple users' during the installation. Anyway I always have to search the program folder for the .exe whenever i'm on the other side. Even after its launched it will not show up under 'recent programs' on the start panel. It's name is under Object Desktop in the 'all programs' list but it will only launch a purchase/trial info web page.
But with IconPackager - we can share the same Icon set, but if its changed on one side it will effect the other...slowly taking over the other's set. As if its gradually replacing images in the Cache.

Perhaps it is different with two users set as admin. I have never done that and it isn't recommended I'm sure. Heck it isn't recommended to run under admin all the time, but I just don't like having to switch back and forth when installing programs.
So you might be experiencing something I just won't in my setup. Might be something to look at for Stardock I guess.
