No Setup File

I've noticed there is no Install File. The only way to Install the game is through Stardock Central, that I know of? How do you Install Galactic Civilizations II Manually? In my Opinion this is Shortsighted not to include a Setup File. I am Sure this will be Addressed.

Well, it doens't really make sense for the beta UNLESS you are playing the beta on another computer than the one used to download the beta.

And what would you like to install GCII manually?

Given Stardock's distribution mechanism (either retail package or SDC) it's unlikely an installer will be forthcoming.

Actually, once the product is released, there probably will be an installer for those that bought GC2 rather than getting it through total gaming. That's the way it worked for GC1. It had an installer, though I never used it.

As for installing it on another computer and not wanting to go through all the downloading again, you can do that. SDC has an archive feature which creates an image of the installed game, which you can then use to install on another machine that has SDC installed on it.
