Do you have smart exception installed?

I do but it does not seem to catch these exceptions. Might not be installed correctly. I have redownloaded it. Hopefully it will work.

Been having crashed to desktop also. Can go back to game where it crashed, and in some cases it plays on, others it continues to crash. It seems to do so when I am in the middle of an attack.

Also, I have colonized a planet in Aline space and come back later to find the planet has been given to that race.
Never told the game to do that.

You didn't get any kind of alert message saying that your citizens had rebelled?

If this is the same bug someone else was having (who e-mailed me their files), it's a bug that was nutzing up the loading of the saved game depending on when it was saved. It appears that it was a chancy thing, because I was loading and saving my game on Friday night without any problems. I think that I've got it fixed now...I was definitely able to load the saved game that the person had sent me after I made the fix.

Anyway, my point is...save the saved game because it will still be good.
