IconX changes my wallpaper! . . . aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh

This has only happened in the last day or so. I am a fully licensed Object Desktop user and when I load IconX (the newest version from SDC - 1.10.007, which is actually 4 months old now), it changes my wallpaper to a plain-colored background. Any ideas? (if I could post a couple of screenshots, I would).

Here's the more interesting part - it only happens on wallpapers that are naturally a dark-bluish color in the first place. For example, it happens with DannilloOC's iFlex wallpaper and his Anion wallpaper but it doesn't happen with his Sektor or 5imple wallpaper. hmmmm.
