WB4.5 not loading fully

from WinCustomize Forums
Hi...total noob to windowblinds so excuse my ignorance...

but when i see the previews of windowblind skins at wincustomize, they have the toolbars and the start bar reskinned, yet this isn't working on mine...

any reasons why it wouldn't? I've tried restarting my computer...looked through all the setttings etc...

the windows themselves have changes and all the highlight options have changed but nothing else...

any suggestions

make sure that you don't have "windows classic" start panel option selected in windows....it needs to be "windows XP" style. also make sure that the "make toolbar buttons flat" option in windowblinds is not checked. these would cause the problems you're describing. also, if you bought windowblinds within the last month or so you can upgrade to 5.0 for free.

also, if you're not running windows xp life is not so good for you when it comes to Windowblinds.

cheers, i have just upgraded to 5.0 but the problem still persists...

the checkbox you mentioned was checked but i have now unchecked it and reloaded the skin and still nothing...

and yes i am running XP...

i would suggest unloading windowblinds via the "unload windowblinds" button on the interface, then reinstall it.
