The un-endorsed, French made, Halo side-scrolling adventure that is Halo Zero has reached its final version, v1.8.3. The PC side-scrolling adventure went live this past Sunday and is still available for free download at the official website.
The title is set in the Halo universe as depicted in the novel "The Fall of Reach," and comes complete with 2D sprites of all your favorite Covenant baddies including elites, grunts and jackals. The fan title supports multiplayer and equips "Le MC" (Master Chief) with the abilities to jump, duck and switch weapons.
Halo fans should check it out before it can be attacked by Microsoft's lawyers.
