Rotating components in the Shipyard

Anyone know how to rotate ship components? Can all ship components be rotated?

There are a few extra pieces that rotate the hardpoint by 90 degrees, 180 degrees, etc. Just pick the appropriate one and size it down as small as it will go so it doesn't cause too much of a gap (Personally I'd prefer if they were invisible, but then they'd be a lot harder to remove).
