OSX Support

When?

Come on guys, when is the long-promised OSX client going to be available? Like many others, I have taken the step into the world of Mac and it would be great to control my PowerBook from my main PC using Multiplicity.

You did promise it, ages ago; indeed the web-site still does. I bought Multiplicity to use at work as I have 2 PCs there, so I have now got so used to the convenience it provides that I want to control my laptop that way too - at work and at home.

The current plan is Q1 2006 along with MP 1.1.

Anything better than Q1? If you look back in the forum the last time you (Stardock) discussed it, the expectation was 1.1 and OSX support Summer of 05. It would have been better to have not promised it at all than to promise something soon (in development) and not come out with it for over a year.

This is ridiculous guys.....

Development takes time I am afraid and sometimes things slip.  There are builds in testing at Stardock and the current plan is for it to be released after the WindowFX update.

It's about time for a WindowFX update. On two of my PC's, WinFX slows the performance to a crawl. And the beloved official stardock support just asked me over and over again what version i was using, and never had an answer to my problem.

Slow performance when doing what?

WindowFX depends on your machine having decent video drivers or many of the effects will use a considerable amount of cpu.
