Though I've just submited a few icons to the ObjectDock skin area, I've been a visiter and registered user of WC for a long time. One thing easy to see is, there are too many icons for the "famous" programs, like Photoshop, Winamp, WMP... As I know, a lot of people use many other programs on their PC, and they can't find their OD icons anywhere, as well as they do not know how to create one themselves (as in my case before).
So, why don't we have an "open area" for those OD users to request for their favorite programs' icons? And those who can use graphical apps can create them. It's also a chance to improve your skills isn't it ?
I'll be the first... Any one need an icon? You can send me a screenshot of the origin icon, and I'll try to make it an OD one (128, 256, in PNG or ICO...).
Not so good in graphik, so I need the help from the pro gd!

Po' you are the man. Great job on the Demonoid png. I couldn't of asked for better. The Maketorrent png was right on. Sorry for the size i used but that was the best i had. You should have seen it before i sized it up just a little. You captured it just perfectly. Here is another called Microsoft Bootvis

a tutorial???
I teach Photoshop at the community college level, but icon making isn't one of the lessons...minimum class size is 10 student's, so grab 9 of your friends, and call me for directions to the college.
Just kidding.
3 easy steps
1. Begin with large space (I start about 800 X 800)
2. Design an icon to your liking
3. Resize to 256 X 256 and save as png

Background is actually transparent, the blue is just to make it stand out here in the forum and on the preview. 256 X 256 PNG & ICO and a 128 X 128 ICO

PO & Bandit you's 2 are amazing you just keep churning them out. Here is another program i have just updated and they have changed the icon. TMPGenc MPEG Editor 2.Attached is 48x48 ong of the icon. 256x256 png of the original icon would be fantastic is someone would be kind enough to make it.Thanks

Bandit, Po', and PhoenixHeart I gotts give it up for you guys. Seeing what you guys can do has promted me to get Photoshop cs2 and try on my own. You come in here and take peoples requests without a hint of bordem or negativity(exp. Skin your own crap!) Ive seen some other customize sites and I gotta tell ya they don't match up to this. The forums are litered with jerks that put down those with questions and some of those jerks are the forum moderators. Just want to say thanks.

The first two I've been actively looking for and have only found ugly unwanted icons, Somebody has to want to make some nice ones no?

The last list is just a list of icons i need but really havnt done a ton of looking for, so if anyone knows a link please let me know...
