Foolish altarian

I have a defender, a battleship and an overlord in orbit of every system.

Ive made no aggressive moves at all in this game.

Then Altarian decides to attack me. They dont have that kind of tech and their military might is about 30% of mine. They cant hurt my overlords. And I dont have any starbases or ships not in orbit. Why do they attack? Fools.

Btw, I didnt get any message that they declared war. Just saw an attack on-screen and went to the foreign relations screen to check if it was me they were attacking - and it was. We were at war.

Approx five turns later the speak-to screen pop'ed up and they were groveling :) Me like that alot!!!

Yet - I didnt attack them at all. Gonna leave it at war to see what happens next

I experienced something similar. The Altarians (who controlled most sectors) suddenly declared war on me (I think it was because did some evil things for a while). They were already a war with everybody else. So I went out and destroyed all their ships orbiting their planets. Unfortunately their planets pop was too large for me to capture with transports. Later on the Altarians surrendered to the Scottlings who were bankrupt so at that point the Drezings and I gobbled up the spoils.

There's need to be some real politic here, the A.I should take in consideration the strengh of a rivel's military power as well as only fighting 1 war at a time unless he's a hyper power that is..

Well they do and they don't. I bet Fredrik was playing as a very very evil civilization.

Hehehe yep, I did my best to be as evil as possible.

And altarian was configured as the opposite, so I bet I pissed him off so much that he didnt care he was so weak. He was blinded with hatred against me. Or something like that.
