Need install help (total noob)

I have absolutely no idea how to install anything I've downloaded from this site. Someone please break it down for me real easy-like.
I've downloaded 5 .zip files and extracted them, but none contain any "install" or "setup" files.
So I also downloaded Desktop X 3.1 and tried to open the files through the program, but it seems the program isn't meant to open or even recognize such .script, .stat, or .pref files contained in the .zips.
That's what I've got, and that's where I'm at. This stuff looks totally cool so I really wanna get it to work, please help me.

Hey!

Now, I have a problem on how to apply the theme. I did double click on the theme name but noting happened. And, I did try to add the skin onto my WB but nothing happened also. Somebody please help!
