Gates Launches Title As Part of Keynote Address

Bill Gates has revealed the newest title in the long running Microsoft Flight Sim series, Flight Simulator X as part of his Consumer Electronics Show keynote address. The tenth installment will take-off during the holiday 2006 season and is being developed by Aces Studio. Gates confirmed that the title will be fully optimized for Microsoft's upcoming Operating System, Windows Vista, and claims to "set the standard for technological innovation, incredible graphics and realism for the genre."
In addition to simulating flight, the latest title also will simulate things that interrupt flight, such as glare from glass or paint. Flight Simulator X will see a wide range of planes and over 24,000 airports to play with. Lastly, Microsoft confirmed that their will be vast improvements to the game's online realm, allowing them to be a part of "a connected world."
