Battery Meter always starts at 100%

Hi, I've updated to DesktopX 3.1, and now my Battery Meter object (Link) always starts at 100%, even if the battery is lower than that. If I charge it up again, it doesn't go higher than 100%. It uses the Performance Meters plugin. Any thoughts? Is there an alternate method I could use? Thanks.
