cpu usage 100%

When downloading any Stardock application update my cpu usage goes to 100%. Why is this?

Do you mean when you are actually downloading or after you have installed a product?

A PC going to 100% when downloading is pretty normal. It just means its working hard for you.

Downloading how? Also what process is using the cpu according to taskmanager?

It only does it when I am updating something ie windowblinds, objectdock, etc. But if you believe this is normal I will not worry about it. Only does it when actually downloading an update. Thanks Night Train. Thanks Banfield. ps Banfield. Whatever process I am updating is what is being used according to taskmanager. ie stardock central. windowblinds.
