Nope..... I also wish this was an option.

I almost got this dumb effect fixed by modifying the settings.ini file under my C:\Documents and Settings\%%user%%\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus directory. The setting you want is the ActivationAnimation=0 line. I changed mine to "0" and the effects ceased. But I still noticed a couple second delay that is really irritating. In fact, I'll probably move along to another application launcher instead. Stupid, stupid, stupid idea on their part to include this annoyance.

I must've figured a way by accident because my attention effect hasn't worked in the last 2 builds. I just tried it again by setting it to rock and nothin........ If I knew why I'd clue you in. I wonder if it has to do with having my docks set to normal z ordering....now you got me wondering.

Let me know if you find out because I'd be very curious. Right now I'm using RK Launcher which is similar to ObjectDock and does not have the annoying flaw. Plus, it's 100% free and is bundled with features.

Yeah I've tried a couple when using the FlyakiteOSX thing, it makes your pc look alot like a Mac, I had RK Launcher installed with that and RK Launcher is great. ObjectDock is good, It doesn't really advertise to upgrate to Plus edition.
