2 stupid questions

Snapping & Ocacity

Hi!

1st question: I have got a GT3 CPU monitor, recycle bin and digital clock. The first one snaps to screen edges, the other 2 don't, while at first they did. Does anyone know why?

2nd question (this is where the shame kicks in): I have got this HardestButtonToButton widget, real handy. Last time I made it invisible so you wouldn't see it...problem is now I can't find it anymore. :S When loading it I don't see it (duh), and moving my mouse all across the screen didn't work neither. Maybe for some reason the ''Enable mouse over'' and ''Enable sound effects'' are unchecked, so now I have no idea where it is. Is there some way to change the opacity without knowing where the widget is or something?

Thanks in advance!

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.......

#1 - If it's an Object, right click, Properties and lock it. Widgets stay where ever you put them.

#2 - Kill the widget process in Taskmgr. Open C:\Documents and Settings\'User'\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX\Widget Cache and clean it out. Re-start Widget

Thanks!

1: it's a widget, but I'm just a sucker for screen edge snapping, don't ask why
2: i don't see a widget cache, is it a folder? displaying hidden folders doesn't help neither...

yes, and showing hidden was a step you needed.

Mmm...weird....when you set the opacity to completely invisible, the widget loses all it's functionality...when you set the bar to 1 pixel before complete invisibility however, it works just fine
