Got a crash to desktop. From home, so no SE.
The last lines in debug.err as above.
Autoturn off.
I set a colonyship on autopilot to a destination, the same turn, after it have moved all MP's I changed my mind and set to another target. It moved again (!) and crashed to desktop.

Umm me stupid. Please disregard of the crash above.
Altho the messages are strange. Unless it's something normal with this new build.

It's something normal with the new build.

The crash you previously reported was in that function so i'm trying to see if it's trying to use an invalid star ID. You know, like 3242343232 or something. That would crashthe game. 2 would not. ;)

So did the new build crash?

Ahh, yeah had one crash just now.

The last lines were:

So no indication of such error then I suppose?


While checking the debug.err, I found these:

Yea unfortunately without the smart exception info it's really just guessing. The data in smart exception will literally tell me what function crashed and what it was trying to do.

I can try to make a debug build, then when it crashes it'll bring up that standard Windows error dialog. But you have to play it in a window. But for you I'd be willing to create it.

Ah, ok - sure. I could try that.

My reserve-plan was to get to work tomorrow and play from there, where SE work :)

But your plan was a bit better IMO, if it gets you about the same data as SE gives, that is.

Oh another thing that would hlep is if I know what size galaxy you're playing on and if you're palying with all the AI players. I just want to make sure when I play the game I'm playing it like you are.

Note that you must run your desktop in 65,000 color mode (16bit color). NOT 32bit/24bit.

Ah ok. nice. I'll try it.
I normally play tiny or small galaxies when a new build is up, after that I switch to a little bit bigger one. And I play with all AI players.
