The plagued story of Stargate-SG1 has reached a new climax. Perception Studios, the Sydney based development house, has canceled all work on the near-complete title with a real possibility that the developer themselves may fold.
A forum post on the game's official website has informed the masses that the title has been canceled for all platforms and that a thirteenth hour save by another publisher is highly unlikely. It is suspected that the deal between Namco and Perception, which saved the project after JoWood aborted, went rotten because license holder MGM never approved of it. An official statement from MGM is expected in the coming days.
