Depending where you are at, there may or may not be a translation for your language. IIRC, European translations are being handled by Stardock's Euro distribution partner Paradox Interactive, and may or may not be available at release.

I do believe hearing Brad say though that once the translations are done, langauge would be available as a selectable option (all languages would be included on SDC, and you pick yours).

Once you receive your copy, you can register your CD-Key with Stardock Central, a special program for downloading and updating stardock products. From what Brad has said it would appear that translations will be available there as they are done by Paradox or whoever, though you'd have to check with an SD employee to be sure.

ciao Mario -- in any case you'll be able to translate GC2 by yourself.

I tried translating GC1 -- it's quite easy to do it if you're satisfied with the main descriptions (weapons, techs, ships, etc).

It's much harder to have a neat product if you want to deal with the full UI.

Italian langiage is full of tricky grammar rules (compared to English)... but it's worthwhile trying anyhow!
Anyhow - beware... GC2 has much more text than you can imagine!

It'll be quite a project if so. GC2 has much, Much, MUCH more dialog than GC1 did.

Hell yes! I think you could have changed the ending of that to (compared to most languages) !!
