Ok... I'm motivated again.
After following the WW diet sporadically for the past 6 months... with little to no will power, I decided to break down and join.
I cancelled my membership to Curves (since I was rarely finding time to get in there anyway) and instead will put the money towards a WW membership. I didn't know if it would be worth it or not... I already know the ins and outs of the diet thanks to the wonder of the internet... but I found that I WAS motivated.
I hit my first meeting Monday night. At first I thought to myself, "How corny is this??" All these people cheering and clapping... but ya know, after awhile it didn't seem so corny, and I found myself getting caught up in the enthusiasm.
I left the meeting and realized that I was now motivated to succeed in this. I want to go in there next week with a LOSS... and I'm going to do whatever it takes THIS week to get it. I'm hoping to walk at least 45 minutes a day at a brisk pace... AND do my ab machine... AND stay within my points.
Today the roads were nasty and slushy, so instead of walking I put in my cardio dance blast DVD. It took me a few minutes to get into it... but it was ok. Not the workout I had planned, but it got my heart rate up for a bit anyway... and my calves were feeling the burn by the time I got done. Tomorrow is another day. I'm hoping it will be nice enough to get outside and do a solid 45 minutes. Don't have to work tomorrow, so hopefully I can get the time in while Noah's at school... wooohoooooo!
Anyone else ready to try again? This diet blog started out with a bang... but we all kinda fizzled. What do you say? Give it another go with me? Anyone? Anyone?? (LOL... now I have Ben Stein's voice in my head). Ok... that's enough.
Keep me accountable, guys
