I'm curious... What did you use to create these images (as in software). I really like them and would like to do something similar of my wife.

Oh only the most advanced graphics software there is......MS Paint!

It would perhaps be easier using another program, but I did it the fiddly way by simply cuttiing out each element with the lasso scissors tool and filling it in with a matte colour.

Okay... I was thinking I would have to get a copy of Photoshop or Corel Draw or something high end like that. Man, it just goes to show it what can be done relatively easily and simply. I'm going to try it out tonight. Thanks for the advice.

If you decide to get Photoshop, you might want to start with PhotoShop elements, first, since it does a lot of what the full version does but is *much* cheaper. I did something similar awhile ago using photoshop elements (my Mom loves Chanel):
