Wow! I believe I totally agree with you, Jafo, believe it or not. Amen!!!!!! There seems to be one in every crowd, which is why Brad and everybody else gets discouraged sometimes. Nicely said, Jafo.
Sleeping Dragon
Interesting point
No. Good job explaining!! Thanks again!!
Woooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooo!!!! You're awesome! Thank you for the help. That did it. Any idea why it duplicates itself on the download? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/bigs
when I extract the zip file to a folder within skins, and then left click on that folder, there is another folder that is called Cyrix_RL. If I left click on that there are 6 BMP files, one jpeg, one read me and one initialization file
Albert Schweitzer once said "One truth stands firm. All that happens in world history rests on something spiritual. If the spiritual is strong, it creates world history. If it is weak, it suffers world history." Someone else said "It's hard to soar with eagles when you work with Turkeys. Keep up the good work, Brad, and keep your spirit strong. All of the decent people appreciate you, and the knuckleheads, ...well, they're just knuckleheads.
I have tried downloading other skins from other sites, uninstalled and reinstalled rainlendar, tried to save just the zip file, extracted to a folder, and still the only skins are the default skins and r-calendar. ><img src="http
ok this is a stretch. It worked with r-calendar which does not have an _RL after the skin name, but does not work with any skins that do have an _RL after the skin name. Could there be part of the initial download that did not install properly? do I need to install more than just the current rainlendar version?
No go. Th first way worked with R-calendar by adni18 so I'm not sure what the problem is.
I tried it with the Cyrix_RL that is by Neophil78 and the Cyrix_RL by danilloOc from a different web page, so I don't believe the problem is the skin. Any ideas? Thank you for helping.
The folder created in the skins folder has the same attributes as the default folders, but it will not show up in the menu so I don't know how to apply it.
Did that and even restarted the computer. It does not show up in the skins menu.
I have sucessfully installed Rainlendar (I believe), but when I try to load a new download a new skin from Wincustomize, and extract it to rainlendar/skins, I am unable to get that skin to apply. Could someone just tell me the path to use or how to extract it properly? I am able to use the 3 skins that came with the download of rainlendar, no problem. Thank you. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/s
That's rich. Thanks Frogboy.
looks like the copyright folks should be worrying about Admin Jafo. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border=0 ALIGN="
figured it out. I was using a JPEG instead of a BITMAP image. tsall good.
I get it. I'll try. Thanks
I guess nobody knows.
any time I run a logon - no problem. If I run a logon that I edited in logon studio - no problem. I tried to create one, though, and I receive a Parser Message that says "value creation failed " at line 537". I obviously am not a programmer. What do I need to do to make this work? Thank you. <
Thank you IPlural

you could also save some of the cool wallpapers that you find on this site and save them in "My Pictures", then run a "my pictures slideshow" as a screensaver. For personal use there is no copyright problems to do this.
