Although my religion says homosexulaity is a sin, I am not anti-homosexuel. I think we are all sinners so their sin is no worse than our own. I have friends that are gay and I believe people are gay for a reason. They can't be made "straight". Whether this is genetically ingrained from birth or a result of somthing that happened in childhood. I lean more towards people are born that way. What do you think?

I have been very interested, in light of recent articles, how cultural and racial biases are formed. IMO I think it has to be ignorance. To generalize an entire group of people seems ludicris. I also live in MN and would love if a city or our state where to buy the twins. Although I agree with Jamie, people wouldn't go for it even if it would eventually bring revenue for the city or state. People don't want to pay the expense to get it up and running. Its too bad, because I would like to know the Twins were here to stay. Some kids I watched had a huge world map painted on one large wall, they had cut outs and pictures (mostly from educational mags) of people from those countries put up on each country. They also put up pics of landmarks, ex: pyramids jungles taj mahal. You could do this of the whole world or just the US with culural points of each state. I think unfortunatly a lot comes with the values that were instilled on us from our parents. My parents taught us to work hard for what we wanted, that life is not a hand out and that no one especially society "owes us" anything. That if we want or need somthing it is our responsibility to work for it. Are parents not teaching these things so it continues to cycle. How do you break the cycle?
