Well, I didn't know about the ones that existed today. Some of those named, like SkyOS and QNX I thought were things that sit on top of DOS or Windows. Zeta/BeOS???? What i wonder is when will there be another real alternative OS. I think when Microsoft gets split up like Ma Bell then we might get some flavors and innovation back. Windos OS and Windows Apps... I have been thnking about a few ideas for a widget. On idea has to do with popular searches on a daily basis and depending on how much an item is searched, the DX object changes color... I am, seemingly, a web search freak. My main search site is Google, but Yahoo is on its coat tails followed by A9... but there is something about clusty I like... I think it is because of the toolbar for FireFox... very nice exicution, especially the dictionary 'clips'
Yes, please!! It's boring looking up in help file on what events is supported AND I gonna copy and paste it in script. That's one of major pet peeves of mine.
