Yasser Arafat is officially pronounced dead. Will there be peace in the middle east?

From personal experience, love finds you when you are not looking for it. I was married when I first fell in love. He had sworn off dating. We have been happily together now for over 9 years.
Texas, I understand exactly what you are saying. I had a boyfriend in high school that shared a bedroom with my little brother as his family was most dysfunctional. We broke up after about a year, but he still continued living in our house and was one of the family. He had a hard time letting go after I broke up with him which led to numerous arguments between the two of us. The last time I spoke to him, I said something snotty and sarcastic
My comfort food is pasta with Italian red sauce, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, lots of garlic, and onions. I can feel so warm and full after a meal like this. (fat, but full) If I do not have the ingredience on hand (I usually do), I can always use jar spaghetti sauce in a pinch. It all serves the same basic comfort function. <TD class="mb-Body-
I think the responses have been fascinating. I love seeing how other people view metaphysical questions. It helps me define my own answers and offers me insights as to other ways of thinking. Thank you for the interesting responses. A lot to ponder about.
When I first heard that a hispanic man would be nominated to fill the role of Attorney General I was pleasantly surprised Oh sure....how insincere.
I received this email today and could not stop laughing..... Special Notice from Carnival Cruise Lines NOTICE FROM CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES Afghanistan Cruise We at Carnival Cruise Lines didn't forget that a lot of entertainers had promised to leave the country if George W. Bush became President.
Turns out Chris's site links there too, thanks for the debunk on that site, it was spread at work and I wanted to find more inforamation about it. No problem. I am not saying I agree with either, but I just thought I would list both sides. This list of IQs and voting has been floating around in one form
I also found the show to be inspiring the first time I watched it until they voted someone off for only losing 5 pounds in a week (she started out weighing significantly less than the others, so 5 lbs. in a week is an incredible feat). I think the voting system stinks and diminishes the accomplishments of the contestants. I would be amazed to lose 5 lbs. in a month, much less a week!
However, this quiz does not look at the type of spirituality that is involved in Christianity. I guess that was what bothered me. This quiz was inserted into the Time article that addressed humanity's need for God and whether that need was in our genes (evolutionary) or not. I thought the quiz w
LCD would be outstanding, but considering we are only looking to spend $100-$150 on a "gaming" monitor for my hobbies, I think the LCD is out. But the size of my CRT matters greatly, my vision prescription is worsening exponentially the longer I stare at this old 17". BoooHoooHooo!
Maybe I am confused....can you be religious (i.e. Christian) and not be spiritual? Can you be spiritual and yet have no religious basis?
Here's another chart this time equating voter's IQ and how they voted. And here is one that debunks that IQ chart Link
So, totalling that up, I scored....18. I am higly spiritual, a true mystic. No surprise there...... I am spiritually aware; easily lost in the moment
Recently Time magazine ran a cover story and article titled, "The God Gene." In the article, a quiz was posted that supposedly helps one determine how spiritual they may be. I found out I was "spiritually average." Certainly not the outcome I expected. While I do not necessarily agree with the questions asked determining spirituality, I thought it
Move to a new house? Sounds good to me!
Call me crazy, but I think size does matter....especially for computer monitors. My 19" monitor died yesterday. It had been on its last leg for some time now. I whined and complained to my husband to get me a new one, but as long as I could still sorta read the blurring text and the power stayed on (even if it never turned off), I was content. But Monday night, the th
Hey if you aren't the levelheaded one in the house today, does that by default make me the sane one? I want to be the sane one, please.... If not, we are screwed and you better straighten up fast.
You are a stand up guy, Captain. Zombie wasn't feeling well yesterday either so I think you were both feeding off the negativity. I certainly do not look at you as just any other teenager, especially after your article today. I am sorry about your loss, and without going in to detail, I understand exactly.
PS - I didn't tell anybody . . . I'm thinking iamheather caught on with some deductive reasoning on a thread a bit back. Deductive Reasoning R Us....Zombie only knows by association.
Ok, I have a quagmire. Not quite a quagmire of the Iraq war proportion, but hefty for my microcosmic world. I have one of those night guard thingies that keep me from grinding my teeth; I think someone else (Texas?) wrote about the expense of these "gadgets." Anyway, my 8 year old son saw mine on the bathroom counter and decided to pull both sides of it like a wishbon
Texas did you mail something? If so....good for you. I am proud! I hardly ever say "Oh my gosh...I cannot believe I just did that!" But my husband says that about me all the time, especially when I have been drinking. "Heather, OMG I cannot believe you just did that! Get back inside right now!"
He not coherent when drugged up.......he loopy!! He not know what he say or what he do...
Yes I know....I had him taste test them first..... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! (copyright chiprj 2004) as you like to quote
BLEEEEPPPP!!!! We interrupt these blogs to bring you this important reminder..... Deadzombie has not been feeling well . He cannot be held accountable for anything he has or will say today. Even his wife has forgiven him. We now return you to your regularly scheduled and unscheduled blogs.<
