A section for mobile phone skins on wincustomize would have a benefit on the quality of the current mobile skinning. Also a photoshop gallery would make it easier to port things from and to different apps.

There were LUNA skins before XP came out, this is why I thought, that there's a chance. Yep, I'm touched by those transparent glass borders. There's a terrific skin for avetext using it. I'll post a link later, the aqua-soft forum, where I saw that is currently down.

Yes, I still have this with OD+ on my win2k machine. I have read something about file handle consumption in the od newsgroup, however when this happened, I counted ~ 1750 handles in taskmanager, which was the a lot more than the other processes, still not 10000+ as others wrote. I'll just write the mail to the support as Karmagirl suggested.

Hehh, I didn't know this. I'll wait a bit until the OD+ mailstorm ends (the problem happens with OD+ as well) and write to the support. In the meanwhile I'll try the generic graphics engine, thanks for the hint. Karmagirl, thx for the offer, I kinda didn't get the message in time.

I thought ObjectDock was unsupported. Do you think Stardock would be willing to help? "This program is provided AS-IS. I understand that I am downloading unsupported freeware software. That means I will not try to obtain technical support from Stardock."

As I wrote, when I click update, it stops at 60%, with the logfile saying that the size of LaST (Cobalt) Lock & Gear.png is incorrect. I don't trust, that after an uninstall it would install fine.

Congrats to the winners. Is that commonly agreed what is regarded as a "minimalistic" and "power user" skin? I tend to prefer minimalistic skins in a way that no fancy artworks, and no glowing colors are used, my favorite minimalistic skin has big titlebar, big buttons, still for work (10+ open windows at a time) I've been using it for months now. I won't change it for another, with thin titlebars and lots of colors. Also my fav power user skin has a lot of titlebar/statusbar functionalities,

So what to do? The card is an ATI Radeon 9200, and runs the latest driver. It was updated a couple of days before WB, so I dunno if the older one would have had the same problem.

Rainy does another great app, rainmeter. I usually bounce between sysmetrix and rainmeter. The big advantage of rainmeter is the per object alpha or transparency setting. Hoöw about a section for rainmeter as well?

WindowBlinds 4.3 in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

After installing WB 4.3, if I drag a skinned window over my transparent objectdock background (any transparency, just not being opaque) the OD background disappeares, and some strange light overlay is shown instead. WinXP Professional Build 2600 SP1, latest OD, latest WB. Any ideas? Any similar/different experiences? cheers Andras

Yrag, didn't work. I reinstalled SDC, cleared its temp, but the OD update fails exactly as I wrote in my very first post.
