Kenny Rogers was a total jerk wad. i got my mom kenny rogers tickets back in the 80's when he came to the burgh....she said it was the worst concert she ever saw. the "show" was about 21/2 hours long , but 2 of them were opening acts. she said kenny did a short set, and a short encore and it was "so long, good night!" i learned several of his songs growing up,,,but i don't think i played em much after that.

Off the cuff is where your real personality is found. It's hypocritical to say that the Ford ad was "obviously" racist and then write off a long, unmistakable statement like Biden's as simply a misstatement . 1st off,,,the ad was an organized effort, and it was racist,,,,only far right wing pundits even bother to defend it anymore. 2nd...biden's statement was an attempt at a compliment, wher the ad was designed to insult ford. a

There are so many factual inaccuracies in your article, that it almost detracts from your point hardly....i call it as i see it, not as you spin it. and this "you swallow the MSM hook, line and sinker b.s. is nonsense and exactly the kind of punditry i am talkin bout. (if you check on Allen you will find that he went a lot farther than Biden did and a lot faster - and his mother is a low blow - you ha

I never thought of you as a basher. I disagree with your opinion but that does not mean you are bashing anyone. I just wanted to know what point you were trying to make. Thank you. anytime:)

I DO find it really, really interesting that you are feeling this way now, with Biden being the target, when you were all up in arms about that commercial about Ford with the white woman in it. Odd standard allowing for a statement like the one above,
a commercial is a much more organized campaign than an off the cuff comment in a diner. th

They had a right to bash him. They used to be liberals and know from the inside out what they are talking about. Either Mr. Clinton or Mr. Carter caused them to leave the liberals and join the conservatives. They had to be angry to do this and they are just venting thier anger. actually, the modern movement began in the 60's, well before clinton

ya see how i respond to a logical, well thought out point vs. being called a liar or having my statements deliberately skewed, edited and taken out of context? i look for the truth miler, not to defend any party or individual over everything as many here do. fact is that global warming and our continued unabashed wastefulness on this planet is no good for anyone. getting away from the political side of it, the fact is that the evidence is clear and obvious that we need to watch ourselv

Fair enough, but when has a conservative gone to a country say like.......Venezuela, Cuba, Syria, and basically bashed their country when Clinton was in office? well, considering that conservative philosophy has been traditionally more isolationist than anything, explain to me why one would go to a foreign place to make that case? liber

i said bosnia et al (means "among other things" or "and everything else") and since there is still bashing going on, i stand by it.

but the "neo-cons" are not the ones who constantly bash their own country and President during a time of war. no, they only bash the majority of the country who doesn't support this war or the direction of the country. and the neocons bashed clinton plenty when he was engaged in bosnia et al...

I also find it funny and totally understand why it is used as an epithet by liberals. Neocon means traitor to liberals. Conservatives call them grownups. I love how liberals scream that neocons don’t know what they are talking about. Neocons are mean, heartless, cruel people that don’t care about people. Neocons want to kill everyone. I hear this all the time on my other b

In the last election, former Senator George Allen got caught up in a verbal "gaffe" when he refferred to a young man hired to follow him around for his opponents campaign effort as "Macacca." the "controversy" raged on for weeks, mostly fueled by Allen's unwillingness to come clean about where he picked up the slur and the result would be essentially throwing his moth

you see no similarity between legislating incandescent bulbs outta existence and legislating leaded gas outta existence?
that's a good analogy actually
And like I said only 2.3% of the states total generated CO2 levels came from making electricity with natural gas. They need to work on the coal one most assuredly. I can find no information

I have in my possession a book entitled The Pied Piper of Rock and Roll by Dennis Corle. it was given to me by a friend who was in some weird Christian rehab thing once upon a time. One of these days I'll post some parts of it that you just wouldn't believe! we used to play the tapes that the evangelical churches distributed that were all about

The solemn Magisterium of the Church, in the FIrst Vatican Council, solemnly defined the doctrine of the primacy of Peter and his successors in these terms: just men claiming to speak for God. and how convenient that they "divinely" decided that they themselves should have all the power, lmao!

As an off topic aside, Barry Manilow wrote "Mandy" about his dog. since mandy "came and gave without takin" does that mean that mandy was the pitcher in the relationship? lol and since he "sent her away" does that mean barry put his dog to sleep cause the dog wouldn't let him be a top every once in a while? that bar

There is good evidence that the Gospel of Matthew was written in Aramaic. and there is good evidence it wasn't. from wikepedia,,, There are numerous testimonies, starting from Papias and Irenaeus, that Matthew originally wrote in Hebrew letters, which is thought to refer to Aramaic. The 16th-century Erasmus was the first to
