Apparently, Throbbers are still on list of things needing to be skinned. I hate the throbber....I got rid of it with a teeny program called Throb Off (Fairyy~ told me about it a long time ago.) So, I don't skin it.
NT, I am one of the few that still uses IE6....I tried IE 7, and didn't like it...lol. And, since I still use XP, I am not forced to use IE7.
I use AVG Professional, Ad-Aware, and SpyBot Search and Destroy. I use the Windows firewall. My router also is a firewall. I used McAfee for years, but it kept missing stuff, and kept hogging more system resources. So, I switched to AVG about 3 years ago, and have been very pleased. Nothing has ever gotten thrugh. Plus, since I have the paid version, it does real-time scanning as well.
Logitech cordless...no other sliders do that to me...just the color slider in wb.(and yes,jump to default is on) I have the same problem too...same setup as IR as well.
I have been building my own PC's from scratch since 1999. I got so fed up with the "brand name" PCs that had all their proprietary junk in the machines....I decided enough was enough. I generally build a new one every couple of years. I do a lot of research before buying any of the components. I have never had any problem with DOA parts, or parts dying on me. I also build PC's for members of my family too. Now...if I could only figure out a way to build a laptop...I use my laptop

Daiwa, I may be wrong, but I think that it comes from the menu bar background...at least in my skins it does...my rebar (toolbar background) is different in my skins from the area you are talking about. It doesn't take the image directly....it is like it takes one of the colors in the image and displays that. I don't think there is any way to directly skin that area.

How do Skinner's de-stress ??? Believe it or not, I love challenges! And I love to create things....gives me such a sense of accomplishment...one that I can see. My stress from work is more mental than physical...don't get me wrong...I love what I do, but sometimes, it gets to be a bit too much.

Barb, I use Photoshop 7, and I do see a difference in color with images saved in Photoshop. They look lighter than they really are in photoshop. But when I open the saved image in Paint Shop Pro, it is the color it is supposed to be. I think it has something to do with Adobe's color management.It is just something I have come to live with. I make all my images in Photoshop, and do the post work in Paint Shop Pro. I don't know if this is any help for you or not. Maybe someone else c
I agree with Skinnhit....the best thing would be for you to make it yourself....it does take a long time, but when you are finished, you will have such a sense of accomplishment! For my desktop, I like it really empty and clean. So, my list is minimal: WP, WB, IP, weather widget, and Desktop Sidebar set on autohide (non-Stardock). I am still running XP on my computer. When making blinds, I use Skin Studio, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Animation Shop, and occasionally MS Paint. Fortunately, I have a skinning partner that makes the widgets, rainys, and occasionally RC to match my blinds...I, too, like things to match.

Dang...it wouldn't let me edit. Anyway, for the scrollbar arrows, when you get to the scrollbar arrows on the right, click on the glyph image > scrollbar glyph image...those are the arrows.
For the scrollbar arrows, in SKS, go to Controls > Scrollbars on the left side. On the right side, you will see the file for the scrollbar arrows. For the "three light blue lines in the middle of the scrollbar as we see in Windows XP theme", in the same section of SKS, go to Scrollbars > Horizantal Scrollbar Tray > Horizantal Scrollbar Thumb-Small. Do the same for the vertical scrollbar. Hope this helps
Fuzzy, I don't know if you did this or not, but what I do is set all of the chunk gaps and chunk sizes to zero. The parts that I skin are the Progress Bar, XP Bar Horiz, XP Bar Vert, and XP Chunk Horiz. Hope this helps.
